British female singers you should know

British female singers are killing the charts lately!
This list is in no particular order. Just sharing some of my faves.

    Jorja Smith

My favorite Jorja song is ‘On My Mind,’ the version with her and Preditah. I saw her perform it live at Coachella and lost my whole mind. A new 21, Jorja just released her debut album ‘Lost and Found.’ It’s in heavy rotation with early favorites being February 3rd and Don’t Watch Me Cry. Her early stuff, the Project 11 EP, is absolutely worth the listen as well.

‘Sober’ deserved more from us. I’m partial to the acoustic version, but still. She just released single ‘I Wish I Missed My Ex’ and let me tell you it has been on REPEAT. It’s just such a vibe. ‘Hold On’ featuring Buddy, ‘No Pressure’ and ‘No Reply’ are also faves from her. ‘I remember’ will have you in your feelings. Here’s hoping we get a debut album from her soon.

    Ella Mai

By this point, I’m sure you’ve heard ‘Boo’d Up.’ That song is cool and all but Ella has in my personal opinion better tracks. The first song of hers I got into was actually ‘Breakfast in Bed’ off her Ready EP. Then she released ‘Naked’ and I spent a whole day in bed crying plus wrote a poem about it. Feeeelinngggggggs, yea, Ella got me in mine.

    Savannah Dumetz

A friend on Twitter put me on to her music and while I’ve only been able to find the one song, I can’t help but hope she blows all the way up. Her single ‘Naked’ will also make you cry. Listen at your own risk. To me, it’s what love sounds like.

    Sinead Harnett

You’ve probably heard ‘If You Let Me’ by now. If not, then get on that. The EP that track is on is fantastic, but so is her other work. She released single ‘Body’ this April and her Chapter One mixtape is also worth the listen.

    NAO

    British Female Singers

Her album “For All We Know” came out in 2016 and has been in steady rotation since. Her earlier EP’s are also worthy listens. Faves being Fool to Love and Girlfriend. She dropped a new track June 15th ‘Another Lifetime” that I’m still working my way around to listening to, but confident I’ll like.

Honorable mentions, meaning people I like but want to get more into:
