Spring Calls for Pinks, Corals… & Apple-Green

Today, during my routine trip to Ulta (and then Sephora because I’ll never stop), I was inspired to create a look for spring. Go figure right? There’s something about the sun and a hint of relatively warm weather that gets those creative juices flowing.

I've noticed that this spring seems to be characterized by pops of pink and coral, coupled with a stunning highlight of the consumer’s choice. I'm not at all surprised because you really can’t go wrong with the glow. No matter what look you’ve committed to, finishing it with highlight is a guaranteed win. I’ve also noticed the revival of lip-gloss, which I can appreciate though I am a matte lip lover at heart.

However, there is something about a pigmented apple green that makes my heart glow! I just couldn’t resist the urge to create a slay that provides much needed spring vibes without using this year’s designated “spring colors.”
