One of my favorite things about fashion is how it changes as we do. A year or two ago, I probably would’ve never bought these yellow pants or thought to pair them with this t-shirt or jacket. Shoutout all the fashion girls I follow on IG who teach me different ways to put an outfit together.
Another thing I love about clothes are the memories that grow to be associated with them. I bought this t-shirt two years ago and wore it on my first day studying abroad in England during fall 2015 which ended up being one of my favorite semesters at Cornell. The pants I got in Cape Town, ZA this past summer and they’re just so international chic to me. I’m sure Zara in the US had them too, but they’ll forever be my Cape Town pants. I waited allllllllll summer to wear them and only brought them out for my South East Asia excursion last October prior to this outing.
My point is, fashion is one of the coolest and most obvious ways we have of expressing ourselves. What will you pair with what today?
